City Furniture

City Furniture is the name given to the products produced for and placed in landscaping and outdoors areas for various needs of their users such as comfort, transportation, resting, information and protection. The term “City Equipment” is basically related to infrastructure. And in additionally there is a term “City Accessories” covering decorative elements. For all these furniture items, the basic important factors are robustness, durability, aesthetics, visual elegance and fitness for intended purpose of use. While these products are designed the main target is to eliminate cultural problems, conflicts between generations, and gender differences of the country they are used, or to create solutions for the resulting problems.

City Furniture are composed of lighting fixtures, billboards, traffic security bands, garbage cans, border stones, bus stops, sitting benches, flower beds, water resources, etc. It is very important to select and use the materials of these products by considering the effects of heat, light, sound, humidity and precipitation.

Materials used in these products are generally CEM I 32.5 R cement, colored aggregates, St 37-2 steels, cast irons, stainless steels, galvanized metals, electrostatically dyed metals, tropical trees and protective polishes and varnishes. Reinforced concrete is produced in accordance with TS 500, TS 11222, TS 708, TS EN 206 and other relevant standards. The metals are manufactured according to St 37-2, AISI 316 and AISI 110 standards.

City furniture is a very important object, which bring quality and order to cities. Wrong selection of these furniture leads to a non-aesthetical and visually dirty appearance.
